Bae moved into scoring position. Andrew McCutchen grounded into an infield single and Brian Reynolds drew a walk. With runners on first and second, Connor Cho doubled to drive in Bae and Reynolds.

Pittsburgh, down 3-1, added an RBI single from Carlos Santana to make it 4-1.

Bae laid down a sacrifice bunt with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh to move pinch-runner Tucupita Marcano to second. However, he was stranded at second base.
